DELTA CLUB: Disciples Equipped for Life, Transformation and Action - it's what we hope the children who attend our DELTA club program will become. Through Bible Exploration, Scripture memory, life-skill activities, games, awards, and so much more, kids will learn the importance of following Christ fully in every area of their lives. 
DELTA CLUB is run in the large group/small group format. The children will be all together for a portion of the time and then split up into age-specific groups to dig deeper into the Bible lesson and activities. The 2023/2024 year will look at the life of Jesus, from birth through His resurrection. The children will learn skills such as cycling, first aid, hiking, looking sharp, manners, and puppets, and learn all sorts of new games and sports. Each year will have a new Bible focus and new skills.
DELTA Club is held right after school every Wednesday (the school bus drops kids off right at church!) throughout the school year beginning September 13 until 5:00pm. It is for 1st-5th grade, however, kindergarteners and 6th graders may join as well.
The cost to join DELTA Club is $25.00. This helps cover the cost of materials and supplies. Scholarships are available on request.
The first class is September 13, so contact the church office and get your registrations in asap. Registration forms may be downloaded here and emailed to the church office at openoorsumc@bevcomm.net or bring on the first day of DELTA Club. 

At the conclusion of DELTA Club, there is a half-hour family-friendly worship service in the sanctuary that DELTA kids participate in. Then everyone may go to the basement for Wednesday night supper, served from 5:30-6:30 for a free-will donation.
