Conversations During Lent

During Lent, Pastors Chris and David Leistra will be having a recorded conversation about a Lenten study. It is titled Savior: What the Bible Says About the Cross by Magrey deVega. The study looks at the cross and what it means for salvation, why it was necessary, and what does it mean for us today. They will have six conversations, one on each chapter of the book and during each week of Lent. The hope is to do the study that is associated with the book next year during Lent.
So, look for the conversations on the Open Doors UMC Facebook page and website on Tuesdays starting March 8. You can also buy the book and follow along – it can be found on Amazon and Cokesbury for under $20.
